This past Saturday’s “Saturday Night Live” proved to be one for the books. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow was one of the show’s hosts and musician Cee Lo Green was a guest.
38-year-old Paltrow starred in the film Country Strong, in which she portrayed Kelly Canter, a fictional country music star. Tim McGraw plays her husband and Garret Hedlund of “Friday Night Lights” fame plays her younger love interest.
36-year-old Cee Lo Green is a successful singer, rapper, and producer. Hailing from Atlanta, Green, who has worked with Gnarls Barkley, recently released his hit “Forget About You,” which became a viral smash hit under the alternate title “F**k You.”
On “Saturday Night Live,” Paltrow poked fun at real country music star Taylor Swift, impersonating everything from her style to her signature acoustic guitar. She even performed a cover of “Love Story,” one of Swift’s 2008 hits, for a Bar Mitzvah called “Bar Mitzvah twist” by Paltrow.
Cee Lo Green came on stage in a massive fur coat, performing his hit “Forget You.” However, he changed the signature chorus verse to “Talk Hebrew.” Green later performed “Bright Lights Bigger City,” another single from his latest album The Lady Killer.
