Harvard University took the top spot in The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2011, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2nd) and University of Cambridge (3rd). The rankings were sourced from a survey of more than 13,000 academics from 131 countries that nominated universities as being the best in their field in teaching and research.
